The Oneplus Nord 2 5G is the newer series in the Nord lineup. They are working their way up with a new Nord flagship every year. They started with the Oneplus Nord, which was launched in July, then launched the Oneplus Nord CE a few months back, and now the Oneplus Nord 2. It is available in 3 variants- 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB. The phone is 8.25 mm thick and is 189 mm thick. The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI, 50 MP Primary camera, 4500 mAh battery, Fluid AMOLED Display, makes it all worth the money.
Processor
The Nord 2 equips with a MediaTek Dimensity processor, unlike the Nord and Nord CE, which has a Qualcomm Processor. According to all the benchmarks, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI is around the same as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. this phone comes in 3 variants. 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Oxygen OS 11.3 based on Android 11 is very intuitive software with no useless apps installed, making it one of the best user-friendly software.
Battery
With a 4500 mAh battery, the Nord 2 is powerful enough to last half a day with max settings and a 90 Hz refresh rate. However, if you cloak the settings a bit more, it is just enough to last around a day. The 65 Watt Warp Charger is super powerful, charging from 0% to 100% in just 31 minutes.
Display
The 6.43 inch Fluid AMOLED Display is very sharp and clear with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The Display is quite like the Oneplus 9 Pro, but a bit smaller. The side-mounted fingerprint scanner is quick to unlock the device.
Camera
The OnePlus Nord 2 has three rear cameras, a 50 MP Primary Camera using a Sony IMX766 (f/1.88), an 8 MP Ultra Wide Camera (f/2.25), and a 2 MP Monochrome Camera (f/2.4). It is capable of recording 4K video at 30 fps, 1080p video at 30/60 fps, and 720p video at 30/60 fps. The Front Camera is a 32 MP with a Sony IMX615 sensor (f/2.45). The Primary Camera is capable of optical image stabilization and it is the same sensor that you can find in the Oneplus 9 series, but without the OIS.
